We will explore how Astrology can answer the following questions which have arisen during the last year, and many other current challenges:

   • If we have the option for in-person education, do we want our children at school at this critical time or is the danger of this not worth it?

  • Do we need a new ‘village based’ model of groups of parents co-teaching or working with a freelance teacher?

  • What is the larger, cosmic, or spiritual purpose to COVID’s effect on education and families?

  • Does it suggest that these Star Children, so obviously vibrating at a completely different frequency, actually require a more innovative and individualized educational curriculum and environment?

  • How can we provide our children what they most need, during this time of rapid change, both inner and outer?

Many of us felt that we wasted years of our lives, not only in college or high school, but even in grade school — Due both to learning in ways that did not support our minds and hearts, but also to losing ourselves in topics that we did not care about, while sometimes finding little mentorship in areas that were our natural magnetism.

This Has To Change.

There Are Solutions. 

They Have Been Here All Along, Encoded In The Sacred And Intentional Moment Of Our Child’s Birth. 

Astrology, Human Design, and Numerology are three systems of self-awareness that open the treasure chest of a child’s soul. These systems provide vocabularies to help us navigate the new challenges of home-schooling or child-directed unschooling (or even world schooling), and the great balancing act of emotional anxiety and educational necessity we find ourselves in.

And this shift can be exciting.

Because we don’t have to follow outdated curriculum or administrative rigidity. 

We get to make up the rules WITH our children, and then break them together as we outgrow them. 

Perhaps this is part of the unfolding plan, the higher ‘starchitecture’ of new generations of light-workers and visionary spirits born in the last 15 years.

For our children to evolve, we as parents and teachers must also evolve.

For our children to “Know Thy Self,” as the ancient wisdom Oracle of Delphi invited each of us, we parents, uncles, aunts, grandparents, and educators, must Know Ourselves, our archetypes, our own patterns.

This is the call of the Universe at this time, and we are gifted with Astrology and Human Design as the tools to support this emergent self-knowledge.

My Passion for this Topic

This year, my fourth nephew was born, a bubble of bliss and joy. Unfortunately, Cameron has a heart murmur and a few other health issues bringing extra concern to my already overwhelmed sister.

 My sister suddenly had to become teacher to my 5 year old niece this year and take her education in her own hands, while managing the household and other 3 children’s needs as well. My 7 year old niece did partial zoom calls and some in-person teaching, but in California this kept changing.

My parents, with their huge hearts, who have taken care of my sister’s kids since the beginning, were not only separated from my nephew’s birth, but have had to navigate the difficulty of how to continue to babysit with the anxiety of masks and shifting sense of safety with the ever-changing landscape of the virus.

For me personally, so much of my birth chart and its promise, especially as musician and artist, as nature-lover, and counselor, were completely ignored in my upbringing. Yet, these archetypes and energies are so obviously written into my birth script both Astrologically and in my Human Design.

In my career, I have so often wondered WHAT IF we could implement our children’s birth promise from Day One?

If parents and caregivers could provide the nurturing, environment, and lessons that their children specifically needed and avoid the wasted time, money, and energy in education that simply did not apply or work at all?
